The Orthotics and Prosthetics Department at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center is a unique and critical resource for providing optimal patient care to individuals with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders that impact either walking or upper extremity function. As a unit of the Rancho Research Institute (RRI), we offer a full range of orthotic and prosthetic services to both inpatients and outpatients.​ Our dedicated team of orthotists, prosthetists, and fitters collaborates with therapists and physicians to develop personalized assessment and treatment plans for each patient. With over 65 years of experience, we have been at the forefront of innovation, research, and development in the field, creating custom-designed orthotic and prosthetic devices to enhance function and improve the quality of life for our patients.
